Hi, I’m Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn Beaton
Remedial Massage Therapist / Functional Movement Therapist
Kaitlyn is a remedial therapist who uses a combination of soft tissue and movement to allow patients to excel after treatment. Kaitlyn has experience in treating a variety of patients from elite athletes, chronic pain sufferers, the elderly and people with disabilities. Coming from an elite sporting background of athletics, volleyball and now football, Kaitlyn understands how important it is to maintain the body. Whether you are pushing your body to its limits, or you have back pain, Kaitlyn enjoys helping everyone get to their next level!
Not only having a sporting background, Kaitlyn has taken a great interest in myofascial release and also Pilates. Myofasical release is a type of physical therapy, often used to treat myofascial pain syndrome. Dry needling, muscle energy techniques (MET) and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching are also among the other techniques Kaitlyn uses throughout her treatments.
Fitness Pilates classes are held with Kaitlyn at Niche. Kaitlyn has 8+ years of experience working with the body and 5+ years of doing Pilates herself. After suffering a lower back injury, Kaitlyn found Pilates and saw the extensive benefits it had. Finding a passion fast, she decided to up skill and become a Pilates Instructor herself.
Away from the clinic, Kaitlyn is always active. If she’s not in the clinic or at football, you’ll find her down the coast, swimming, running, or drinking a coffee!
